It’s not just buildings

It’s not just architecture.

Buildings are our history, our memories of childhood, our homes.

The structures we build house our offices,
embrace our sense of style, our sense of ourselves.

If they tower over the streets in defiance of gravity,
they express our feats of science and engineering as well as our aspirations and hopes.

Our city is filled with tributes to our past, the buildings that uphold
our traditions, challenge us.
It’s not just architecture, not just concrete and steel, mortar and bricks
