The peekaboo moon

Has a shady side,

Dark, hidden in plain sight

It’s a shape-changer

A magician, weaving

A spell behind clouds

Or in the plain air of a

Bright, blue sky, its face

Enigmatic, a chiselled disk

Light then covert, sometimes

Exposed but revealing little
