In some definitions, squatting is akin to sitting. In others it’s more like sitting in, but more about that anon. Among the deep squats practiced for body wellness, sumo squats are a personal favorite. They are not often performed in my fitness classes, but when they are, I love doing them. Sometimes squats can make you squat, or thickest and stocky. This is not an ideal outcome of the exercise.
On the other hand, squatters can be usurpers. They are people who have taken over an uninhabited building or illegally settled on another’s land. This is the sort of squat I do not admire. We should probably hold off on those.
