It is in the spring time that we are most inspired by scent. Floral fragrances are the source of this sensual catalyst to the spirits. Of course, the industry that brings us perfume relies on many other stimulants to our imagination. These are both savory and sweet, based on herbs and concoctions, potions we who are not “noses” cannot begin to understand.
For me, the idea of a perfume originates in the lilac or the rose, the tulip or the hydrangea.
